Jon Stewart pretends to expose something noteworthy.

I really don’t understand what the big deal is. Anyone can raise funds for whatever reason they want and there is nothing to stop honest hardworking Americans from donating to whatever person they want to donate to.

Sarah Palin Threatens to Sue ‘Rogue’ Book Publisher

ABC News is reporting that Sarah Palin is fighting back against Random House and Joe McGinniss, for writing and publishing the scandalous book “The Rogue.” Though Palin may have a good case in the matter considering much of the book is written based on rumors by anonymous sources. However, a lengthy court battle may ensure these nasty rumors get talked about for a very long time.

The letter in part reads:

Enclosed is an e-mail by your author Joe McGinniss. In this e-mail, Mr. McGinniss admits that your own lawyers instructed him that “nothing I can cite other than my own reporting rises above the level of tawdry gossip.”….Indeed, Mr. McGinniss admits that the allegations are false unless he can find someone or something to show they are true. We know from the final book that he was unable to do so.

It is malicious for your company to publish a book wherein it, and the author, admit that they were fully aware the statements in the book were false, intended to be false, and were intended to harm…

Accordingly, since both your company, and the author, clearly knew the statements were false, admitted they had no basis in fact or reality, but decided to publish in order to harm Governor Palin’s family, you and Mr. McGinniss have defamed the Palins. This letter shall serve as written notice under AS.09.30.070 (b) that a claim may be brought against you, your company and Mr. McGinniss for knowingly publishing false statements.

In the interim, please take note of the following:  It is unlawful to delete emails or destroy records upon being notified of the need of business records for litigation purposes. In addition, courts may impose civil sanctions against a defendant that destroys emails and other documentation.  Please immediately provide notice to your employees to save and back up all records pertaining to the Palins and the book “The Rogue.”…

Palin raises cash ‘on the verge’ of big decision

Word is out that Sarah Palin is making a big push to raise some extra money because she is on the verge of a big decision. A decision that everyone assumes is if she will be running for president or not. A late entry into the race would give her a huge advantage. However, if she raises money from her vast number of supporters, and she decides not to run, people might feel burned. I guess we can only wait and see what she does.

Sarah Palin Offered $1 Million To Take Lie Detector Test

Ashley Madison, an infidelity themed dating site is offering Sarah and Todd Palin $1 Million to take a polygraph test and prove they have not cheated on each other as suggested in the new book by Joe McGinniss. A great marketing tactic by Ashley Madison for sure. But I highly doubt Palin will take them up on the offer. As much as she loves publicity, she prefers it on her terms.

Playing Us For Fools

Speaking Monday, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin slammed President Obama’s deficit reduction plan, saying the president is “playing us for fools.”

“I thought the president was very bold in his request for another blank check,” Ms. Palin said on Fox News. “I don’t consider it a plan at all.”
